Frequently asked questions
Answers on scope, payments, ownership and delivery. Amounts are on the Pricing page. For every project, the signed agreement prevails over this summary.
Before we begin
Who is NexMizan?
NexMizan is a business technology studio based in Egypt. Founded in 2026. We work online with companies and institutions, with a focus on Saudi Arabia and the UAE, across eight service areas: business systems and databases, CRM and ERP, custom software, data analytics, automation, integrations, websites and portals, and maintenance. We sell deliverables, durations and milestone payments, not tools.
When do I need a paid diagnostic?
For complex work only: CRM, ERP/Odoo, custom software, complex portals and enterprise integrations. Simple services start with a free call and a written offer. The diagnostic takes 5 working days at a fixed fee paid before it begins. You receive a 5–8 page report, an illustrative deliverable defined in the diagnostic offer, 3 priorities, and an implementation offer with scope and acceptance criteria. Its fee is credited in full if the project starts within 30 days of report delivery.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes. You can start with a simple scope such as one dashboard, one automation path or a connection between two tools, after a free call and a written offer. The offer defines what the price and duration cover. Complex projects begin with a paid assessment and a custom quote, whatever the company size.
Which languages do you work in?
We work in Arabic and English. Conversations, offers, reports and contracts can be in either language, and websites and portals can be built in both. If your team uses both languages, tell us at the start so the offer states which language each document and each screen will use.
How can I verify your capabilities before starting?
Try the four demos with their sample data: the executive dashboard, CRM, automation and client portal. Explore workflows, permissions and data presentation. Then request a call with Ibrahim Amin and an offer with written scope, acceptance criteria and costs before any payment.
Pricing and payments
How do project payments work, and why not pay everything upfront?
Projects are paid in three parts: 40% at the start, 30% when we show a working preview, and 30% on acceptance and approval. You see the evidence for each stage before you pay for it, and the final files are handed over after the last payment. We never ask for the whole project fee upfront, because payments tied to visible progress protect both sides.
How does the diagnostic credit work?
The diagnostic is paid in full before it starts. If the project begins within 30 days of delivery of the diagnostic report, its fee is credited in full against the project. The credit expires after that period. You are not obliged to continue, and the report and offer stay with you. The amount is on the Pricing page.
What is billed separately from the project fee?
Hosting, licences, domains and external subscriptions are priced separately, and each is opened in your name. We do not resell hosting. We work with temporary access while we build and leave the accounts after handover. The Pricing page lists the amounts for our entry offers, and your written offer shows these separate costs before you agree to anything.
How are extra requests priced?
Anything outside the written scope is priced before it is carried out. We describe the request, state its price and, where it is affected, the dates. Work on it starts only after you agree in writing. This keeps the original scope and its acceptance criteria unchanged, and it means no charge appears that you have not approved.
Are your fees net of withholding tax?
Yes. The agreed fees are net of any withholding tax imposed in the client's country. Where withholding applies, it is added so the agreed fee arrives in full. This is stated in the agreement, and each invoice shows the agreed amount. We do not give tax advice, so please check the rules that apply to you with your own accountant.
In which currency do I pay?
Amounts on this website may be shown in Saudi riyals (SAR), UAE dirhams (AED) and US dollars (USD). The conversions are for convenience, at the fixed pegs between these currencies. The currency in which you pay is stated in the contract, together with the amount in that currency.
Ownership, accounts and data
Who owns what you deliver?
You do. The client owns everything we deliver, and the final files are handed over after the last payment. Third-party licences, such as software or services the solution relies on, stay with their owners under their own terms. We may not reuse your confidential material, and we show a project as a case study only with your written approval.
Whose name are hosting, domains and licences under?
Yours. Hosting, licences, domains and external subscriptions are priced separately and opened in your name, so you hold the accounts from the first day and nothing about your system depends on an account of ours. Where work involves a payment gateway, it uses your own gateway account and keys. We never hold keys or card data.
What access do you need, and when does it end?
We work with temporary access that you grant for the project. When the work is handed over, we leave the accounts, and you can remove our access. We use access only for the agreed work. If the project involves sensitive health, financial or personal data, we work inside your environment with temporary permissions and a data-processing agreement.
How do you handle confidential and personal data?
We build on aggregated, anonymised or sample data wherever possible. Your customers' personal data stays in your own accounts and is not placed in any external tool or service without your written consent. We take a backup before any data migration and rehearse the migration on a test copy first. We use what you share only for the agreed work.
Which tools do you use to carry out the work?
We may use modern software tools and technical services to carry out the work, without entering the client's personal data into any of them unless the client agrees in writing. Every delivery is reviewed by a person before it reaches you, and a named person is accountable for it. Your customers' personal data stays in your own accounts.
Delivery, acceptance and support
How long does the work take?
Simple-service durations are listed with their offers on the Pricing page: dashboards, automation paths, websites or simple portals, and connecting two tools. The complex-project diagnostic takes 5 working days, then implementation duration is set in the written offer. CRM, ERP, custom software and complex portals have no universal fixed implementation duration.
How are changes handled during the project?
The written scope is the reference. If you want something outside it, we describe the change, state its price and any effect on the dates, and start only after you agree in writing. Corrections needed to meet the acceptance criteria are inside the scope and need no extra approval. You follow progress at each stage through previews and agreed deliverables.
What does acceptance mean?
Each stage has written acceptance criteria. Before you pay for a stage, you see the evidence for it, such as a working preview or the results of our checks. We test the system before the final handover. A stage is accepted when it meets its criteria and you confirm it. The last payment falls due on acceptance and approval.
What happens after delivery?
After delivery you get 14 days of free fixes for defects, meaning anything that does not work as the acceptance criteria describe. After that, an optional monthly maintenance and support plan is available. New features and changes to what you accepted are quoted separately before any work begins. The Pricing page shows the monthly plan.
What if we disagree about acceptance?
The written acceptance criteria decide. If the work meets them, it counts as accepted. If it does not, we correct it and present it again. A request that goes beyond the criteria is treated as a change, which is priced before it is carried out. Because the criteria are agreed in writing before work starts, both sides know in advance what accepted means.
Working with us from Saudi Arabia or the UAE
Can a studio in Egypt work with us from Saudi Arabia or the UAE?
Yes. NexMizan works online from Egypt. Meetings take place by call or video, files and previews are shared online, and every stage is reviewed with you before you pay for it. Distance does not change the structure of the work: the scope, previews, acceptance and payments are all written down and shared with you.
How do time zones and working hours work?
We are based in Egypt and work Gulf business hours by agreement. At the start we agree the hours for meetings and how we stay in touch, for example by WhatsApp or e-mail. The offer states the dates for each stage, so you know when to expect each preview.
How do invoices and payments work from the Gulf?
You receive an invoice for each payment. The usual method is an international bank transfer. When both sides agree, payments can instead go through an escrow-style platform, where a third party holds each payment until the stage is approved. We agree the method, and the currency, in writing before the work begins.
In which language are the contracts?
We prepare the agreement in Arabic or in English, as you prefer. The offer, the scope and the acceptance criteria are written in the same language. The governing law and the way disputes are handled are stated in the signed agreement for each project, so you read them before you sign, not afterwards.
Do you handle company formation or licences?
No. Company formation, commercial licences and legal procedures are outside our scope, and so are legal and tax advice. Our work is the technical side, such as a website, ordering or booking, WhatsApp, reports and business systems. If you need formation or licensing, a licensed provider carries it out under their own contract with you.
